So the 19th was my father's birthday...he's knocking on 70 LOL. Anyway, I surprised him by coming over. I had bought a card from me and hubby and one from the baby *he picked it out himself*. We all had a wonderful chat and my mom made him special dinner and cake *cabbage, corn bread, fried tallapia, homemade mashed potatoes, steak gravy, 1-2-3 cake* It was soooooo good! I miss mommy's cooking... *goes off into memories of beef stew*. My dad enjoyed himself. Both my sisters were there and so was my little sister's boyfriend. He's a likeable fellow. He has a healthy sense of humor and seems to fit in to our wacky family just fine. I'm glad we got to celebrate together I told my dad I had written to Oprah about him and tried to get him on her show for his birthday, but it didn't come thru. He loved that idea. He's so cute LOL!
