When I take a gander at the vast majority of bloggers and their blogs I tend to wonder what is the point to it all. Could it be that sharing your life with strange friends is easier than doing so in our everyday courtships?

You can watch the world through blogger's eyes and see the common thread that binds the universe.

Depression.
YES I said depression! It's what they like to call "emo" these days.

I cannot tell you the number of blogs I have come across that have the maind theme of depression. Why is this and the younger generation full of such gloom? I will tell you why: LOOK around. Where is the hope? Where is the love? The world has shunned the very appearance of hope and love. They are learning what we teach them in the mainstream. What is mainstream? A hodge podge of theoretical facts. Where is the hope in knowing that nothing is known? Where is the love in finding out that the world doesn't love you?

Where is GOD?

As far as I know, He is still here...in some cases just sipping His java and waiting for us to make the next move. We don't have to wait on God. Waiting is a state of mind. Since we are in such an impatient society, it is easy to say that we all wait on God. What we must realize is that He has already put everything into place. It is up to us to take the initiative to ACCEPT God's will and DO it...no matter what that means.

So next time you think about writing about how no one loves you and you are depressed because life sucks so badly, just ask yourself this question:

Is Jesus the Lord of your life?
Yes?
Well then reevaluate why you are living in such a state. God has given us love and hope and joy. Proclaim it in your life every day...and speak the scriptures that affirm these things so you can break the curse over your life.

No?
Get it straight. You cannot get the joy of God without Him. Give your life to Him and let Him direct your paths. In all your ways acknowledge Him. Commit to cultivating the fruit of the Spirit. Pick up a bible or look one up online and start reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Find out what love really is...
