Watch out people! The spirit of Control is among us. Don't let anyone ever control you with their anger. You know, the type of anger that only flares up as a result of something that someone else doesn't want you to do... or even the type of anger where the other person KNOWS they are wrong and you know they are wrong, but you will end up apologizing anyway.

How about when they are super over the top sweet so that when it comes time for them to do their dirt, they expect you to be happy that they gave you the time of day BEFORE they do what it is that they have been setting you up for all day. Then you are supposed to thank them for that and let them go on their merry little way without a fight or word of opposition.

It's deadly. God has told us that the spirit of control is not from Him but from the evil one.

The spirit of control is a perversion of authority.  Men who have not allowed the attitude of the righteous to be formed in them through submission to their fathers, tend to misuse authority.  Force is used, anger is a frequent problem, and rebellion will result.  The display of anger generally focuses upon the trivial rather than the important.

Instead of control being established through godly authority, anger is used to establish control through fear.  The spirit of control working through anger will subject through intimidation.  The attitude of the righteous is not produced, rather anger produces more anger which results in more disobedience.

The spirit of control either controls or it rejects.  Rebellion is the only way to break free. Men without fathers' hearts tend to drive rather than lead, to dominate rather than release, to force rather than teach.  Children become unteachable and develop the attitude of the disobedient. ^{watchman chronicle}

Women can fall into this trap so easily, especially when trying to live as a Godly wife. We allow our husbands to control us with this WITCHCRAFT all the time. This spirit is often called the Jezebel spirit. Look at how she connived and manipulated her husband into doing things that he KNEW were not of God...out of fear.

So pray hard people. Fight hard not to be controlled and not to be the controller. Either way you are in a web of delusion. The only type of control we should have in our lives is SELF control.
