~`_ The Spirit of the Eagle speaks into the soul _'~

I am grateful that my father and mother didn't get killed yesterday. They were in a one car accident in my dad's van. Thankfully there were no other cars coming at the time. They started to skid out of control suddenly and my father did everything in his power to right the vehicle, but to no avail. They ended up careening towards a tree at center mass, but miraculously the car turned and landed in a bramble between two trees! Unscathed by the accident, and relieved to be alive, they waited 45 minutes for EMTs who never showed up. Thankfully, the man who was going by after the accident came back with his truck to pull them out of the small gully. It takes me back to the day when my then soon-to-be husband nearly came to his end in 2001. The tree sat on the windshield, glass shattered all around him and he had nothing but a slight touch of whiplash.

God is so good.
