OH what a fun trip I had getting here!

My husband took me to Damons by the airport so we could have lunch before I left. We had a good lunch chatting it up. He decided he could be an hour late to work so that we could be together for a while before my flight. He even waited till my bag was checked before he made his leave. He is such a sweetie!!

I had a few hours to wait till my flight, so I got to rock out to my mp3 player and do some word search puzzles. Finally, it was time to get the rest of my stuff checked out so I could sit in the secure area by the gate. There was a kid that was screaming about wanting his mother there...and I started getting flashes of my own son. I had to chuckle, even though his big brother didn't find the boy's antics funny.

My flight was right on time and we arrived in Atlanta 1/2 an hour early. I walked around for a while before deciding what I was going to have for dinner along with my oreo coffee treat. I was in a different part of the airport than I had been in for the PR flight, so I was glad to see some different scenery while I waited.

The second flight was right on time, too. It was uneventful. I got to see beautiful vistas as we flew. I fell asleep at some point during the flight and before I knew it, we were touching down in Houston. We were 1/2 an hour early coming in, so I called Myclette to let her know. By the time she got there I had just sat down with my bag from the baggage claim.

She is stunning in person. Pictures don't do her justice...and you have seen her pictures so you know she is gorgeous on film, too. She said she thought she saw Evander Holyfield outside but he looked so skinny! I said it was probably him since he stopped fighting and lost a lot of muscle mass. We chatted for a few minutes then headed out to the car. Lo and behold, Evander was still standing on the curb, looking as if he really didn't want to be bothered. Myclette softly asked if he was Evander and then introduced me. He still looked like he was pretty ticked off about something, so I didn't press the issue about meeting him. I would have taken a picture if he had been in a better mood.

I got to meet Little E and Myclette's hubby. They are just as nice as they can be. Her house is really pretty, too. They had set up the inflatable bed for me to sleep on. That thing is like butter. No wonder people who stay here try to steal it!

This morning we are planning a trip to IHOP and the mega hair emporium. SWEET!!! More later!!!
