Why is my hair not growing? How come it's shorter than it was before? Did I get an extra hair cut? NO!

My hair has decided to boycott my shoulders. It has decided to recede back into my scalp or jump for safer shores. I see it, laughing at me in the sink and on the floor, running to the other side of the trash can. It's not right! My nerves have always screwed up my hair. This is the worst it has ever been. All I want to do now is cover my head in hair pieces and pretend it's real.

This morning "my" hair got me called out: "you look so young" and "you have a lot of hair" b/c my son was mistaken once again for a girl as he has a load of hair on his head. The lady at the door was shocked to find that I was the lady of the house. I wonder how old she thought I was. I didn't ask, nor did I tell her my age.

I am nearly ashamed to even look at my natural hair now. It used to be so vibrant and long and pretty. It makes me wish I had never cut my hair to begin with. I am so distraught...and that is definitely not helping my hair to grow back full and healthy.

*sigh*
